Friday, September 26th: Karaoke Party at the Elk's Club 8:30 PM for Ann DeMatteo. $10 will get you into the event and profit from event will be split between Hamden Lights for Life and Strides for Breast Cancer.
Saturday, September 27th 9 AM - Ridge Hill School benefit Softball Game for Kathy Przygocki. Come out and watch Hamden Public School staff and others play in a softball game. Donations for Hamden Lights for Life as well as luminaria will be sold.
Sunday, September 28th 5 PM: Join us for the big event at Meadowbrook Park! Luminaria will be sold until 6 PM. Food vendors will be there so come and mingle with friends. Program to start around 6 PM ending with the lighting of the luminaria at dusk.

August 21st 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Pizza Fest at Atria Larson Place 1450 Whitney Avenue.
Over a hundred peole came out to sample some of the best pizza in Hamden and North Haven. Olde World Apizza came in 1st place, followed by JRoos in 2nd place, and Paul & Eddys in 3rd place.
August 27th: Hamden Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at Laurel View Country Club.
Sunday, September 7th: Splash Carwash, across from Hamden High school, will donate a percentage of each car wash this day for the event.
Wednesday, September 10th 4:30-7:30: McDonald's 15% of all sales through dining room and drive thru will be given as a donation to the Hamden Lights for Life event. Please join us as Fire Chief David Baradesca, Police Chief Tom Wydra, Town Clerk Vera Morrison, WQUN Ray Andrewsen, Hamden Community Police Officer Ron Glifort and other will take your orders
Saturday, September 13th 9:00 - 3:00: Cheerleader megaphone collection: between TOYS R US and Bank of America. The donations are then given to the event.

Tuesday, September 23th: The Tymes Restaurant will be hosting a benefit dinner for the Hamden Lights for Life event. The evening will begin at 6 PM with a 4 course meal. Each course will be accompanied by a different wine. The cost of the ticket is $75 which includes the meal, wines, tax, gratuity, and 1 luminaria.
